ST. PIUS X MISSION STATEMENT
We, the people of God of St. Pius Church seek to live the Christian
life by celebrating God's Word, Living in Eucharist and reaching out in peace and justice
to all of God's people. We hope to build a loving, supportive community in Jamul, by
listening and sharing with each other. We believe, with God's grace, the power of
Jesus' example and the gifts of the Spriit, we will fulfill Christ's mission to love one
another, and establish the kingdom of God on earth.
LA MISION DE SAN PIO X
En la Iglesia de San Pio X nos esmeramos en vivir la vida Cristiana a
través de la celebración de la Palabra de Dios, la Eucaristía y deseando la
paz y la justicia para el pueblo de Dios. Cometidos a construir una
comunidad fraternal en Jamul, a través de la atención y convivencia entre
nosotros, creemos que con la gracia de Dios, la potencia del ejemplo de
Jesús y los favores del Espíritu, lograremos la misión de Cristo de amarnos
entre si y de establecer el reino de Dios en la tierra.

the coming years?
| In hell, people have chopsticks a yard long so they cannot reach
their mouths; and so, are forever suffering a hunger that will never be quieted.
Whereas, in heaven even though the chopsticks are the same length, everyone is still
always well-fed. The reason for this is simple; In heaven, the people feed one
another. This is, indeed, the real lesson each of us must appreciate about
the value of true friendship, and the one to recall every day as we continue on our search
to discover God anew within ourselves and in the people around us.
